The “ber” months herald something wonderful in the country and as September rolls in, the world witnesses the beginning of the longest holiday season in the world. OUR HOME does one better! By creating festive and fun stylings to the holiday fever, we make sure that we are geared up to be the quintessential authority in anything and everything Christmas. As a fitting kick-off to officially start the holiday season, we are starting off with a calm and soothing interpretation of the holidays. Subtle hints and little tidbits of the holiday season here and there make for a perfect introduction to the most wonderful time of the year!
For the first time, OUR HOME highlights Christmas Tree stylings as we create a foyer area. The foyer is an intro to what the rest of the store holds in store and is a preview of sorts to what OUR HOME offers in terms of ideas and inspirations. The slim Christmas Tree stands tall and majestic in the foreground as one enters the store. To evoke a bit of a dramatic flair, an all-black tree is decorated and decked with elegant trimmings and posh trinkets. Combinations of deep purple berries, magenta colored balls, pink décor and dark violet hangings punctuate the black pine needles amid silver twigs and picks. Warm white lighting elicit a soothing feel adding to the sophisticated and understated look of the tree while exuding an overall elegant atmosphere. Behind, an arcade consisting of three black arches creates a theatrical backdrop for what’s in front while at the same time providing a divider for what’s behind.
An all-white dining ensemble for six peeks through from the black arcade divider. White velvet upholstery instantly evokes a tactile and plush feel to the dining area while complementing a white marble top dining table. Table settings are impeccably laid out with a crystal charger anchoring white porcelain dinnerware and silver flat ware while complementing the violet glass tumblers and the crystal wine goblets. Silk violet napkins slid artistically inside silver napkin rings consistently repeat the color palette while as a centerpiece, a simple clear glass vase is filled with Christmas balls in different tints of violet where white twigs are carefully arranged to create a variety of heights. Two lamps with marble bases and gray shades are placed on two round white pedestals, perfectly placed under the black arches.
The living room echoes the all-white feel of the dining as an L-shaped white leather sofa takes center stage against panels of black French windows. A pair of all-white accent chairs complement the sofa but with a softer touch as boucle fabrics are used for upholstery. A marble topped center and side table contains floral arrangements mimicking the same color palette of violets and grays while crystal candelabras add a touch of shine and sparkle to the setting. The living room also boasts of another tall and slim black Christmas tree with the same curated décor, mirroring the tree in the foyer and adding the same stylish sophistication. Mirrors with a silver and white frame punctuate the walls for added illusions of space. Garlands are openly hung around the walls and French window panels to add to the festive atmosphere.
Another all-white leather bed is placed in the bedroom setting eliciting a cohesive look while paying homage to the wintry feel of the setting. Two white bedside tables flank the bed while on top, table lamps with crystal bases and gray fabric shades complement the posh and sophisticated style. Purple and gray linens don the bed echoing the color scheme while bringing a pop of subtle color to an otherwise achromatic palette. Two gray tufted accent chairs in velvet fabrics offer a cozy sitting nook at the foot of the bed. The wall behind the headboard is also adorned with a silver and white framed mirror while on top, a Christmas garland is decked with the same holiday decor.
